Kids’ BookBridges – A to Z Mystery: Sleepy Hollow Sleepover

Dear Readers,

Theater Girl has recently taken a new road in her interests. While drama is still a regular part of her life (as it is with every 8 year old), she has begun spending quite a bit more time playing sports. After much discussion, in which I was ALWAYS wrong and she was right, I was informed that she will now go by the moniker: Girl Athlete. Make it so, Book People.

And so, here is Girl Athlete’s newest KBB post.

TITLE: A to Z Mysteries: Sleepy Hollow Sleepover

PUBLISHER: Random House Books for Young Readers

LENGTH: 144 pages

SUMMARY: (via amazon.com) More adventure, more illustrations, more Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose. . . . A to Z fun keeps on coming!

Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose are spending Halloween in Sleepy Hollow, home of the legendary Headless Horseman. They are going to sleep in an old cabin, take a haunted hayride, and check out the Old Dutch Church. That’s where some people say they’ve spotted the ghostly horseman. But strange things start happening that don’t seem to be part of the planned spooky fun. Is there a real Headless Horseman haunting Sleepy Hollow?

The alphabet is over, but the mysteries continue in this fourth A to Z Mysteries Super Edition, featuring a secret message hidden in the illustrations.

GA’s REVIEW: I think this is a good fit book for mystery readers because money was stolen and Josh, Ruth Rose, and Dink are trying to find out who did it,why they did it ,and if they were trying to get away with it. I think this story is trying to teach you that you should never try to steal anything. The best thing about the book is the beginning . Read A to Z mystery Sleep Hollow Sleepover.
